My fiancee and I are ready to begin our wedding plans!!! I’m so excited! But, that aside, we would like some advice. We have already decided we want to have a small wedding, just close friends and family. And we want to cut down the cost as low as possible. We will still have one year of college to get through after the wedding, so everything needs to be as inexpensive as possible.
ANY advice is welcome! How did you cut down costs at your wedding? Give us some ideas or ALTERNATIVES for things like flowers, invitations, djs, musicians, dresses, tuxes, table centerpieces, etc! Anything! Thanks in advance for your time.
Also, we don’t need anyone to tell us that we’d be better off waiting to get married… we have our own, personal reasons why we chose our date, thank you.
Thanks for the UNNECESSARY comments, Jaded, but the fact is, BOTH sets of parents are very supportive of this wedding! We have been dating since we were sophomores in high school, and our families are close! I said we have our reasons for getting married early. Also, its not that we can’t AFFORD a wedding at all. We can, but we would like to save money! Now could I hear from others who would like to HELP me out here?!?!
