I have applied for a budgeting loan but need advice?
I have applied for a Budgeting Loan from the Social for £950. I have applied for this for home improvements and furniture. What are my chances of getting the full amount i applied for?
I would like to add I am currently living with my partner and my 16 month old son and we are expecting again early november. We are on Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance.

Does wedding budgeting make anyone else want to pull their hair out?
I am not getting married until June 2008, and I am already ready to pull my hair out from all the stress!! I am having a family friend make the cake, invitations, and flower arrangements…and Im getting married at my grandmothers house, so no venue charge or need for a limo. But I still cannot seem to get my budget under $20,000…this is insane. My fiance has already vetoed eloping or destination wedding.
How did you, or are you, dealing with the stress of the dreaded wedding budget!?

Just because your marriages didnt last doesnt mean that mine wont last 10 years…its people like you that destroy the meaning of marriage.
I have been with my man for 5 years…and I am going to spend the next 100 with him as well (God willing).
Well since everyone seems so confused about where all of these dollars are going…here it is:
Rings (2000), Ceremony (1000), Reception food, alcohol, rentals, decorations, DJ (12,000), Gown (1500), photography (1000), videography (1000), rehearsal dinner (500), Honeymoon (4000)…that is a bulk of it.
The wedding is in the suburbs just outside of Philadelphia.

Am looking for a simple guide to follow and to learn the know how in order to track my families finances efficiently and effectively and hopefully in a fun way. The info should include info on budgeting, accounting. But the info should not be focused on the poor or the wealthy it should be more general. Should not be focused on the problems the people have with debt on credit cards

I just started a new job and get paid monthly instead of every two weeks. It’s taking some adjusting, especially since I had a long stretch before my first check when I started.
