They nailed the budgeting on Cash for Clunkers. Why not believe them on “deficit-neutral” gov’t healthcare?
Ex asked:
It’s not like free medical benefits will generate more demand than discounted cars!!!!

(For those of you without a sense of humor, this is laced with sarcasm.)
Marcia, and you expect do-nothing, know-nothing bureaucrats to accurately predict demand for an issue as complex as healthcare?!?!
BAWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Budgeting- What is average cost for a Terra Cotta roof?
CRYSTAL W asked:
My husband and I are trying to save some money and budget to replace our existing asphalt roof with a terra cotta one and I wanted to know if any one had an idea on the average cost, our home is only 1100 sq ft. I don’t want to get an estimate just yet because they never take not right now for an answer. thanks!

Budgeting- How much should I expect to pay for water, electric, and gas?
Cup o’ Tea asked:
Per month, for a metro-city, 1200 square foot condo with just me living in it? I know it varies, but just a guesstimation/average would really help me out!

It would probably help to add that it has 1 gas fireplace, which would only be used sparingly.

Budgeting- How much should I expect to pay for electricity, water, & gas?
Cup o’ Tea asked:
Per month, for a single person living in a metro-city 12000 square foot condo? This is a place I’m buying, not renting, so I doubt the utilities are taken care of. There is one fireplace that will be used sparingly in the winter only.

I know it varies, but if you could give me a guesstimate/average, that’d be great! Thank you in advance!
Whoops. 12 HUNDRED square feet. 1,200 lol.
