We’ve looking for a home – budgeting?
cobillman07 asked:
We’ve started our search for our first home and we’re really excited. I’ve also been working on our new budget because so many things have changed in the past two months. I would really like to figure out what we could afford in mortgage wise. We’ve been approved for $115,000. I also wanted to know how I could find out an estimate for what we would be paying for water, sewer and trash because we haven’t been paying that at our apartment.

What is the best way to budget?
littleman asked:
I find that one of the most difficult things to do is budgeting income allocation on expenses. I make a decent living but find that I pay my bills and have nothing left over to take care of unexpected expenses. Are there any suggestions on how to budget appropriately and prioritize expenses?

Concerned about military Pay. Is it really that bad even if you’re good at budgeting finances?
lil rae asked:
I’ve heard some horror stories about people not making enough to live off of. Currently we don’t make much at all about 1000 a month and we have two children. My husband joined the navy and will be leaving for boot camp in a few months. I have the base pay charts and everything, but is it really as bad as it seems, or is that more so if you don’t know how to save. I’m really asking if you can live comfortably and not paycheck to paycheck. Thank You!!!

Anyone have budgeting tips for a college student living off campus?
Clarissa C asked:
So I will be living at a house with a few other students for the year. Commuting isn’t an option =( and housing isn’t given to seniors

Anyhow I have begun budgeting everything. I’ve made a list of known expenses (rent, permit, etc.)
However I am having a hard time decided how much to budget for…groceries. I have lived on campus with a meal plan. I would appreciate some input!
Any other tips will be greatly appreciated! Thanks =)

every two weeks I get 25 dollars and the week after I get thirty. that would be a good set up but I have three things that ain’t nessarly needs but I do.
1. I’m trying to save up money
2. I’m trying to get thing of my wish list
3. I order books
that last one is the problem in order to keep up with my manga series I like. I literally have to order them a head but thats getting in the way with my plans.
what do I do.
